October 11, 2024: In line with its existing IDA Campaign, PTF is a signatory of the Abidjan Accord which urges G20 members to increase funding for IDA21 in a bid to combat extreme poverty. This Global Citizen campaign, which seeks to increase IDA21 funding to $120 billion, went into effect on October 10th 2024 at the Economic Development Assembly with the backing of over 100 CSOs, private sector firms, and prominent individuals. In line with our campaign, it also includes a call for the World Bank to set up a CSO funding facility of at least $50 million.
