PTF was selected by the Asian Development Bank to work with Bhutan’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The project is aimed at enhancing the institutional capacity of the ACC focusing on the areas of change management, public communications, human resources management, investigation, and corruption prevention. Four specialists from the PTF team will undertake the eight month long assignment which began in July to help develop strategic plans, operational tools and systems for implementation and monitoring.
Overall the objectives of the project will be (1) to strengthen the ACC in fulfilling its mission and performing its core functions of investigation, prevention and public education; (2) to assist the ACC to plan strategically and implement its plans, using Bhutan’s institutional development plan as a guide; (3) To prepare the ACC to become a stronger and more cohesive institution that exhibits a sense of mission and shared purpose.
The project will wrap up in March 2013.
