At America Days in Cahul, Moldova, on May 20, 2023, the Increasing the Integrity of Public Procurement in Moldova project, jointly implemented by the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) Viitorul and Partnership for Transparency, was promoted. The event provided a good platform for IDIS representatives to communicate directly with the public and provide information about transparency and procurement integrity. Throughout the day, visitors learned about the objectives of the project and the results of public procurement monitoring by local civil society organizations. Notably, Kent D. Logsdon, U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, and Nicolae Dandis, Mayor of Cahul, stopped by the IDIS tent to talk about the project.
