April 18, 2025: On March 11, 2025, the Good Governance Academy hosted a webinar on “Stakeholder Engagement in World Bank Projects“.
Dr. Vinay Bhargava, Chief Technical Advisor at PTF was a featured speaker at a webinar along with Asli Gurkan, Social Development Specialist at the World Bank. The event was hosted by Marc Morley, Head of Education at the Good Governance Academy.
The event focused on the importance of effective stakeholder engagement in World Bank-funded projects to ensure they are inclusive, transparent, and impactful. It explained civil society’s right to information as well its ability to actively participate in project design and implementation in low- and middle-income countries, including through projects’ Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEPs).
