June 21, 2024: PTF Advisors Christoph Kowalewski and Hady Fink attended the 21st IACC (managed by Transparency International) held on June 18-21, 2024, at a time of mounting pressures by many governments to harrass and censor civil society organizations and the press. The conference in Vilnius, Lithuania, was over-shadowed by the Russian attacks on Ukraine and pressures on civil society across Central and Eastewrn Europe. For example, on June 3, the government of Georgia signed a restrictive “foreign agents law”.
